Requesting a sender ID
Open the SMS workspace, go to Settings and request a sender ID with the name you want displayed and a short justification. Nigerian sender IDs are reviewed by the regulator before approval, so allow a few working days.
Routing
Messages are routed by destination country code across the configured gateways. Failed messages are retried on the same route before being marked failed, and every attempt is written to the delivery ledger.
Character counts
A GSM-7 message fits 160 characters per part. Using an emoji or a non-GSM character switches the message to Unicode, which fits 70 characters per part and costs proportionally more.
